Interior designer Redman Whiteley Dixon was commissioned for the internal interior ambience. In 2002 she was formally launched with celebration in Zwartsluis and following sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter passed on to the new owner. Vitters Shipyard Bv completed their new build sailing yacht in the Netherlands. Her core hull was built out of aluminium. The sailing yacht main superstructure is made largely from aluminium. With a beam of 8.78 metres / 28.8 feet VENT D'EST has spacious size. A deep draught of 4.1m (13.5ft) limits the list of overall marinas she can enter into, taking into account their individual depth. She had refit maintenance and modification carried out by 2008.
