New Build & Design of Luxury Yacht SQUALL

Dubois Naval Architects was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel design work for SQUALL. Also the company Dubois Naval Architects skillfully worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Perini Navi/Remi Tessier was selected for the overall internal styling. Built by Perini Navi the vessel was fabricated in the recognised yachting country Italy. She was officially launched in Viareggio in 2002 before being handed over to the owner. A spacious area is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 10.35 metres / 34 ft. With a 5.06m (16.6ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably deep. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned from aluminium. In 2008 extra refit work and modernisation was in addition performed.

The 3412E DITA engine powering the yacht is made by CATERPILLAR. She is driven by a single screw propeller. The main engine of the ship gives 1400 horse power (or 1030 kilowatts).
