A General Description of Motor Yacht SPIRIT

This motor yacht SPIRIT is a 35 metre 115 (foot) well sized composite vessel which was newly built at New Zealand Yachts and conceived by Bakewell-White Yacht Design and Ken Freivokh Design. Accommodating 10 passengers and 10 crew members, motor yacht SPIRIT is ex Nzyc01. The naval architect who actualised this yacht's plans and general arrangement on this ship was Bakewell-White Yacht Design and Ken Freivokh Design. Also, the interior styling was created by Ken Freivokh Design.

Build & Naval Architecture with respect to Luxury Yacht SPIRIT

Bakewell-White Yacht Design was the naval architecture company involved in the technical superyacht design work for SPIRIT. Her interior design was realised by Ken Freivokh Design. Bakewell-White Yacht Design and Ken Freivokh Design is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. New Zealand is the country that New Zealand Yachts constructed their new build motor yacht in. After the formal launch in 2004 in Whangarei she was afterwards handed over to the happy owner after final finishing. A spacious feeling is manifested with a total beam (width) of 10.8 metres / 35.4 feet. With a 2.1m (7ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created from composite.

Fitted with two CATERPILLAR diesel engines, SPIRIT will attain a top speed of 24 knots. Coupled to the SPIRIT engines are twin screw propellers (5 blades). She also has an economical range of 1850 nautical miles when sailing at her cruising speed of 21 knots. Her total HP is 2400 HP and her total Kilowatts are 1766. For bow thrusters she uses Lewmar X2.
