A General Description of Motor Yacht SHERAKHAN
Vuyk & Zonen Scheepswerven (Inactive) finished building motor yacht SHERAKHAN in 1966. The yacht can be categorised as having been built in the Netherlands. SHERAKHAN is a yacht which had naval architecture and design created by Kmc & Khmb Enkhuizen and Kmc & Khmb Enkhuizen. This superyacht SHERAKHAN is able to accommodate overnight a capacity of 26 guests aboard as well as 19 crewmembers. Launched to celebration by 1966 this boat’s interior decoration exhibits the traditional yacht setting of owner and Claudia Reintjes.
SHERAKHAN was christened in honor of the tiger in the famous book (and Disney film) The Jungle Book. Built in 1965 and fully recommissioned as a luxury superyacht in 2005 aimed specifically at the charter market, SHERIKHAN is one of the most impressive superyachts. The yacht has an imaginative and contemporary interior with several unique extra features such as her luxury dining room for 22 guests with its massive 7m Atrium bathed in natural light filtered down through the glass bottomed Spa Pool, her themed cabins, her large sundeck area with numerous lounging spaces or the lookout house perched above the sundeck an immense 20m above the water line.
Shipyard Work & Design relating to Luxury Yacht SHERAKHAN
Kmc & Khmb Enkhuizen was the naval architecture company involved in the formal vessel composition for SHERAKHAN. Also the company Kmc & Khmb Enkhuizen expertly worked on this venture. Interior designer Claudia Reintjes was selected for the overall internal styling. In 1966 she was formally launched to accolade in Capelle A/D Ijssel and following sea trials and final completion was then passed on to the owner. Vuyk & Zonen Scheepswerven Bv (Inactive) completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. The hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made predominantly with aluminium. With a width of 12.05 metres / 39.53 feet SHERAKHAN has impressive size. She has a fairly deep draught of 4.45m (14.6ft). She had refit improvement and modification carried out in 2005.

The 3512B DITA engine installed in the motor yacht is built by CATERPILLAR. Coupled to the SHERAKHAN engines are a single screw propeller. She is equiped with 2 engines. As for stabalisers she was built with Koopnautic Searoc. The bow thrusters are Van Wijk.
