A General Description of Motor Yacht SEDATION

SEDATION was previously called project/yacht name 9743; New Century. This 44 metre (143 foot) luxury yacht was made by Heesen Yachts in 1997. Motor Yacht SEDATION is a ample superyacht. The naval architecture office who actualised the design in respect of the yacht is Diaship Design. The interior design and styling is the brain child of Art-Line Interiors. Luxury yacht SEDATION is a good looking yacht that can sleep as many as 10 passengers on board and has approximately 8 crew.

Construction & Design with respect to Luxury Yacht SEDATION

Diaship Design was the naval architecture company involved in the technical vessel plans for SEDATION. Also the company Diaship Design successfully collaborated on this project. Interior designer Art-Line Interiors was employed for the overall interior styling. In 1997 she was actually launched with accolade in Oss and post sea trials and finishing touches was then delivered to the new owner. Heesen Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. A spacious area is manifested with a maximum beam (width) of 8.5 metres / 27.9 ft. With a 2.5m (8.2ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created from aluminium. In 2008 extra refitting and updating was also performed.

Engines & Speed On M/Y SEDATION:

The 16V 396 TE94 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MTU. Coupled to the SEDATION engines are twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship generates 2950 horse power (or 2171 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The combined output for the boat is thus 5900 HP or 4341 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she utilises Naiad. The bow thrusters are Dahne.
