Sailing yacht ACHERON is a fine example of the quality and unique craftsman ship produced by designer Rob Humphreys and builder Oyster Marine Ltd. Launched in 2007, S/Y ACHERON measures 19.3m (65ft) and accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 versatile spacious cabins.

Luxury sailing yacht ACHERON boasts cherry wood panels and a distinguishing wood tile floor design throughout, the soft furnishings are a neutral off white in quality leather. In the salon guests can dine in elegance at the formal dining table, 2 large U shaped sofas offer absolute comfort and a state of the art audio and visual system ensure fabulous indoor entertainment. Aft of the salon on the port side is the open galley where the chef can be seen creating masterful meals.

Two guest cabins are aft of the salon and forward there are 2 (one for crew) further cabins, one double and one twin with an option to convert it into a double. S/Y ACHERON is fully air conditioned below decks.

On deck, the ACHERON sailing yacht has ample exterior living areas. The generous cockpit is shaded by a permanent Bimini and is forward of the duel helms, making it the ideal area for guests to relax undisturbed. A large teak table enables an alfresco dining option. The open aft deck offers built in rail seating on port and starboard. Water enthusiasts will find access easy from the sugar scoop transom.

Yacht ACHERON’s beam is 5.5m (18ft), the yacht draws 2.9m (9.8ft) under the water, she has a sloop rig with an in mast furling system capable of comfortable sailing speeds up to 8 knots. When not under sail S/Y ACHERON is powered by a single Perkins 185C diesel engine

Yacht Accommodation

Sailing yacht ACHERON can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 cabins. Aft and full beam of the yacht is the master suite with double bed, separate deck entrance (and below deck entrance), sofa, vanity, TV and en-suite facilities/shower. An upper / lower bunk cabin is aft of the salon on the starboard side with shared facilities. Forward of the salon a double cabin is on the starboard side with TV and en-suite facilities/shower. A port cabin has upper / lower bunks with the option of making the lower bunk into a double; this cabin has shared facilities with the starboard aft cabin and can be either a guest’s cabin or the crews.
