Fratelli Benetti Yacht Design was the naval architect firm involved in the technical vessel plans for RAVI. Fratelli Benetti is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Created at Suprimar - Suprimentos Maritimos the yacht was built in Brazil. She was successfully launched in Guaruja in 1998 before being delivered to the owner. The main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is made predominantly from aluminium. With a beam of 6 m / 19.7 ft RAVI has reasonable internal space. She has a fairly shallow draught of 1.83m (6ft).
