The Shipyard Work & Naval Architecture of Luxury Yacht RANGER

Fred Elliot was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel plans for RANGER. Her interior design was conceived by Glade Johnson. Fred Elliot and Sparkman & Stephens is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 2003 she was actually launched with triumph in Aarhus and post sea trials and final completion was then passed on to the new owner. Danish Yacht A/S completed their new build sailing yacht in Denmark. A reasonable area is brought about with a maximum beam (width) of 6.4 metres or 20.11 feet. With a 4.8m (15.8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is built with the use of teak. In 2006 extra refitting and updating was in addition performed.
