Perini Navi was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical plans for PIROPO IV. Her interior design was realised by Perini Navi. Perini Navi is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. In 1991 she was actually launched with celebration in Viareggio and post sea trials and detailing was afterwards handed over to the owner who commissioned her. Perini Navi completed their new build sailing yacht in Italy. Her hull was crafted from steel. The sailing yacht superstructure is fabricated extensively with aluminium.
