The motor yacht PARIS I is a 56 m 184 (foot) sizeable steel vessel which was manufactured at Amels Yachts (Of The Damen Shipyard Group) and conceived from the design board of Jack Hargrave. Sleeping 18 guests and 15 qualified crew, motor yacht PARIS I was previously called Katamarino. The naval architecture office which delivered her design for the yacht is Jack Hargrave. Also, the interior design was created by Elie Gharzhouzi/Struik & Hamerslag.

M/Y PARIS I (ex Katamarino) was designed for worldwide cruising in style. She has a solid classic feel to her lines and form, and is clearly identified as the work of the late Jack Hargrave. Her unusual layout features the owner’s suite in the upper deck and there is an unusual VIP guest saloon at the forward end of the main deck. The yacht has an Arabic Origin and a Garzouzi interior. Her original owner was one time the principal agent for the owner of the Montkaj.

Jack Hargrave was the naval architecture company involved in the formal superyacht plans for PARIS I. Her interior design was realised by Elie Gharzhouzi/Struik & Hamerslag. Jack Hargrave is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. Created at Amels Yachts (Of The Damen Shipyard Group) the vessel was fabricated within the Netherlands. She was successfully launched in Makkum in 1991 before being transferred to the owner. The hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made extensively with aluminium. With a beam of 10.3 metres / 33.8 feet PARIS I has spacious size. She has a deep draught of 3.14m (10.3ft). She had refit maintenance and alteration work carried out in 1994.
