De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical plans for OLGA II. De Voogt Naval Architects is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. the Netherlands is the country that The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard constructed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1953 in Kaag the boat was afterwards passed over to the owner following sea trials and testing. The core hull was built out of steel.
