The naval architecture office that made her plans and general arangement with respect to this ship was Michel Joubert and Bernard Nivelt. Her initial interior was the brain child of Beatrice Tarrade. The Build & Design of Luxury Yacht OKEANIS

Michel Joubert was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical plans for OKEANIS. Also the company Michel Joubert and Bernard Nivelt successfully worked on this venture. Interior designer Beatrice Tarrade was charged with the overall internal styling. Created at Ocea Shipbuilding the yacht was fabricated in the country of France. She was officially launched in Les Sables D'olonne in 2003 before being handed over to the owner. A reasonable area is achieved with a total beam (width) of 7 m / 23 feet. With a 1.8m (5.9ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is fashioned with the use of aluminium.

Engineering & Speed For M/Y OKEANIS:

The 12M26SR engine powering the yacht is made by BAUDOUIN. She is driven by twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship generates 1100 horse power (or 809 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The combined power for the yacht is thus 2200 HP / 1619 KW. As for stabalisers she was supplied with Koopnautic. The bow thrusters are Wesmar.
