Motor Yacht LAUREL - Delta Marine
Luxury motor yacht LAUREL is a mega yacht built by Delta Marine in 2006, measuring 73,20m (240' 1"). At the time of her launching, M/Y LAUREL was the largest yacht ever to be produced by Delta Shipyards and was also the largest yacht constructed in America since 1921.
Superyacht LAUREL was designed by Donald Starkey Design and features naval architecture and marine engineering by the Delta Design Group. The yacht boasts a striking exterior profile with fine entry and a gracefully shaped stern, combining chrome between her white superstructure and Royal Blue hull.
The 73 m (241 foot) luxury yacht LAUREL has a steel hull and composite superstructure combining the best of today’s most advanced materials and manufacturing processes. She was the first large yacht built in the world to have an entirely composite superstructure from the main deck up providing significant weight savings.
Megayacht Laurel’s interior boasts a clever combination of communal and intimate spaces to make this large megayacht still feel like a home to those who are lucky enough to charter her. The use of exotic woods, textures and glass create a comfortable yet extremely graceful atmosphere. The latest technology including a world-class entertainment system and 1200 point alarm and monitoring system is also integrated into this spectacular yacht.
The interior of motor yacht Laurel is very volumous thanks to her huge beam of 12.30m (40' 4") and features a blend of anigré, furnished in an eclectic style. The yacht boasts a large main salon that is beautifully appointed with the finest of furnishings and décor and features large windows offering natural light and great views. There is a separate formal dining area where guests are treated to delicacies from the qualified chef.
The master suite is positioned amidships on the main deck, flanked by private side decks, and is entered through a private lobby that opens forward to the bedroom through an office. The 6 guests suites are located below decks.

Laurel has a sun deck that extends fore and aft of a central observation room – the forward part being a belvedere terrace and the aft part offering a gymnasium, spa pool and sunbathing area.
The upper deck boasts a large al fresco dining table and great views and the large main aft deck offers the perfect spot for afternoon tea or cocktail hour.
Yacht Laurel is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 main engines with 2,500 horse power @ 1800 rpm’s enabling her to reach a maximum of 18.2 knots. She also features A Quantum QC 1800 four fin zero speed system with the unique feature of pitch control provide maximum comfort underway as well as when anchored. She is certified to Lloyd’s Register Yacht (P) requirements and is MCA code certified. The Laurel yacht also provides the highest level of pollution prevention, safety and security measures applicable to worldwide operation.
Luxury superyacht Laurel is able to accommodate up to 12 guests in 7 beautifully appointed staterooms. Her Master cabin boasts a large king size bed, a day pantry, a study area, two private exterior terraces, two walk in wardrobes, a double shower and head. Four of the guest cabins have a similar layout with a kingsize bed and shower. The 5th guest cabin has a queen size bed and a single bed – plus a fold down Pullman as well as an ensuite with a bath and shower. The 6th cabin has two Murphy style beds, one queen and one single plus ensuite facilities. This allows space for a massage therapist to setup this room as a massage cabin. (There is no massage therapist permanently onboard however one can be arranged at an extra cost).

M/Y LAUREL has an extensive range of extras onboard including the following: Tenders & Toys include a 25’ tender, a 22' tender, a 15' rescue boat, 2 waverunners, 3 SeaScooter’s, 4 two man sea kayaks, wake boards, waterski’s, sea fishing tackle, inflatable tubes and donuts, snorkeling equipment and a diving board. Communications include Satcom and cellular communications facilities, Wi-Fi internet access, VSAT, GSM, VOIP. Audio Visual Equipment and Deck Facilities include Comprehensive audio-visual systems, a Library that also serves as cinema, karaoke and satellite television.
