M/Y 'Indian Princess' - Luxury Motor Yacht
|
Luxury motor yacht ‘Indian Princess’ is one of the most recognizable and well known super yachts from the late 1980’s. Her Jon Bannenberg design and styling give her a unique, yet aesthetically appealing, profile that was substantially improved upon during her major refit and lengthening in 1996/97 at the DML shipyard, Plymouth, England. M/Y ‘Indian Princess’ has been further extensively renovated and updated in 2004. ‘Indian Princess’s recent refit included the complete replacement of carpets and soft furnishings. Her colour scheme is rich and fresh and provides a vibrant complement to her light wood interior. In the fall of 2005, she underwent a further refit in Marseille.
Indian Princess’ stunning aft deck lounge area, on her upper deck, is accessed via a grand central staircase from the main deck level. Circular seating with tables (port & stbd), a large alfresco circular dining table with Summit teak seating for up to 12 and a full wet bar create an excellent venue for entertaining. The focal point of this saloon is the formal wet bar to port, with bar stools and the antique grand piano to starboard. Forward and split level is the observation / games saloon with its four distinct seating areas, Plasma TV, PS2 games tables and 180 degree panoramic view.
Following Indian Princess’ s 10ft (3m) extension in 1997, the main deck aft not only acts as the yacht’s main entrance and reception area when moored stern-to, but is also the working boat deck and tender store. Two versatile and articulating passerelles (port & stbd) offer an array of options for embarking and disembarking at the dock stern-to, side-to or even at anchor.
The tenders are launched and recovered via overboard hydraulic gantry cranes.
Two guest/staff cabins are located to port with an entrance foyer and day toilet (stbd). Amidships to starboard is the large, marble tiled formal dining area with a boardroom size table capable of seating 18 for dinner, or meetings. On the aft bulkhead a plasma TV and Video conferencing facility is provided. Opposite to port is the Owner's private office/study with a desk, sofa and full audio/visual equipment. The Captain’s cabin and radio room/ship’s office are forward to port and to starboard is the large pantry and well equipped galley. Central stairs lead up to the wheelhouse and, slightly to starboard, stairs lead down into the crew mess, crew galley and dining area – full width. There are 4 crew cabins on this level. The foredeck has its own hydraulic crane for the crew tender and jetski when required as well as 2 U-shaped crew seating/relaxation areas (port & stbd). |
Luxury motor yacht ‘Indian Princess’ provides the following accommodation for up to 10 guests: The spectacular Owner's suite is a full width double cabin with dressing room and ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower cubicle. She has 4 double cabins (2 with additional single berths) each with ensuite bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs. A twin bunk cabin with ensuite shower room and a further single cabin with ensuite shower room. |
