Built-in 2015 by Abeking & Rasmussen, 82m/268ft motor yacht ROMEA was built by Abeking & Rasmussen in 2015 with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The shipyard produced her naval architecture, while the interior and exterior styling is the work of internationally known designer Terence Disdale. Accommodation onboard is provided in 6 cabins for 12 guests.

NOTABLE FEATURES OF ROMEA:  ~ Beach club spa ~ Massage room and gym ~ An abundance of water toys ~ Outdoor cinema ~ Large alfresco lounging and sunbathing spaces  ~ 182 different finishes

EXTERIOR

the swim platform connects up to the main deck aft, where guests can rest outdoors on the plush stern sofa and dine alfresco after returning from hours on the water toys.

Above, the upper deck has a grand outdoor dining table for shaded alfresco meals that make the most of your environment. Guests can savor a sunset cocktail on the seating along the stern, which consists of a padded sofa and two tables each with four chairs. On the bow, a Portuguese deck provides a secluded forward seat and sunloungers for unwinding in the sunshine with sweeping forward views.

The sun-exposed bridge deck aft is fitted with sunpads and a generous outdoor lounge which acts both as an additional sunbathing area and as a comfortable nighttime cinema for films under the stars.

The sundeck is split into two areas, placing the sunbathing facilities forward with a generous number of sunpads around the forward Jacuzzi. Behind, the aft deck layout is designed for open-air entertainment, and space has a split bar and a seating area arranged for close conversation between guests.
INTERIOR

Stores, laundry, and equipment are placed upon the tank's deck, leaving the lower deck free to accommodate a crew of 23 as well as the engine room and a breathtaking modern beach club with spa facilities.

The main deck forward hosts the guest accommodation, behind which there is a foyer and a formal dining area separate to the main salon for a closer setting between 12 guests when celebrating a special occasion. The table itself has a base crafted by hand and the top is polished to a high sheen, using 20 layers for a solid, durable surface from lacquers used on samurai swords.

The main salon has a bright and airy appearance that uses floor-to-ceiling windows and pale wood paneling and furnishings, while dark accents add a touch of sophistication and contrast to the palette. The port and starboard seating areas are symmetrical and allow guests to spread out to engage in separate conversations.

"Radical design for the sake of being radical rarely stands the test of time. In other words, style is fleeting while class is permanent." - “Buying a yacht isn’t an over the counter [purchase]; it is the very opposite. The magic is not only in the owning and using the yacht, but in the slow process of slowly seeing your baby being built and your ideas come to life one by one. I am here to help you achieve that.” - Terence Disdale
