Mega Yacht AZZAM (Project name) is a 180m luxury mega yacht constructed by Lurssen shipyard and it is the largest luxury yacht in the world to date (2013). She was launched by Lurssen in April, 2013, featuring beautiful and elegant exterior lines and styling by Nauta Yachts and interiors by Christophe Leoni.

A world-class team behind this important project was assembled and directed by Eng. Mubarak Saad al Ahbabi and under his leadership the original concept of mega yacht Azzam was developed. Azzam features innovative and timeless design with luxurious and sophisticated accommodation.

The technical engineering of the vessel was developed by Lurssen, the exterior design by Nauta Yachts and the interior by Christophe Leoni. Azzam yacht represents the most complex and the most challenging yacht ever built to date.

In addition to being the largest yacht in the world (with Eclipse yacht now being on the second place), AZZAM Yacht has an impressive top speed of 30 knots, and was constructed in a record time.

As well as many other features the Project Azzam yacht has a main salon with a length of 29 m and a beam of 18m with an open plan and no pillars. She will travel in excess of 30 knots, powered by a combination of 2 gas turbines and 2 diesel engines with a total of 94000 horse powers.
