This 30 metre (100 ft) luxury yacht was created by Tp okson Boats in 2005. Sailing Yacht MAXIMUS is a well sized superyacht. The firm of naval architecture whom authored the drawings in respect of this ship was Greg Elliot and Clay Oliver.
MAXIMUS is a legendary SuperMaxi which races on the international World Circuit. Designed and managed by a New Zealand team, she is the ultimate sailing yacht which, combined with her highly experienced team, is designed achieve optimum results by breaking boundaries on the world circuit. The MAXIMUM S team is comprised of New Zealand individuals and companies whose goal is to produce the world's fastest monohull race yacht with a maximum overall length of 100 feet. MAXIMUS is 30 metres and was designed by Greg Elliott using some of the most technologically advanced systems in the world including light displacement carbon fiber, carbon fibre rotating wing mast, retractable canting keel and maximum power to weight ratio.
Greg Elliot was the naval architect involved in the professional vessel plans for MAXIMUS. Also the company Greg Elliot and Clay Oliver successfully worked on this undertaking. New Zealand is the country that Tp okson Boats constructed their new build sailing yacht in. After formal launch in 2005 in Auckland she was released to the happy owner following sea trials and testing.
