William Fife was the naval architecture company involved in the technical vessel design work for MARIQUITA. Also the company William Fife successfully worked on this undertaking. In 1911 she was formally launched with triumph in Fairlie and post sea trials and final completion was afterwards handed over to the owner who commissioned her. Fife & completed their new build sailing yacht in the United Kingdom. Her main hull was built out of steel framed wooden. The sailing yacht superstructure component is made mostly with teak.
