Building & Designing with respect to Luxury Yacht LIR

Willem De Vries Lentsch Jr was the naval architect firm involved in the technical superyacht design work for LIR. Also the company Willem De Vries Lentsch Jr and Ortona Navi skillfully collaborated on this project. Interior designer Ortona Navi Int & Sea was responsible for the internal internal ambience. Italy is the country that Ortona Navi built their new build sailing yacht in. After formal launch in 1988 in Ortona she was afterwards released to the yacht owner having completed sea trials. Her core hull was crafted from steel. The sailing yacht main superstructure is made predominantly from aluminium. With a width of 7.5 metres / 24.6 ft LIR has reasonable internal space. A fairly deep draught of 4.88m (16ft) limits the amount of worldwide harbours she can berth in, contingent on their minimum depth at low tide. She had refit improvement and modification carried out in 2001.
