Fratelli Benetti Yacht Design was the naval architect involved in the technical superyacht design work for LATIKO. Her interior design was conceived by Zuretti Interior Design. Fratelli Benetti and Stefano Righini is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. Italy is the country that Benetti Yachts constructed their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 2003 in Fano the boat was handed over to the proud new owner after sea trials. The hull was constructed with composite. The motor yacht superstructure is made for the most part with composite. With a beam of 7.62 m or 25 feet LATIKO has moderate interior. "One of the most memorable parts for me was the launch. I went with my wife, and Benetti had a Roman Catholic priest bless the yacht. It was very beautiful with all the Italian music and then the British national anthem, and it was all very unexpected. I thought I was just going to be putting the boat in the water, but in fact it turned into a very emotional day!” - Owner of a Benetti Yacht (11:11)
