The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Diana Yacht Design and Doros AArgyriadis. The technical naval architect plans are the creation of Diana Yacht Design. Motor Yacht JAMAICA BAY received her stylish interior designing from the interior design office of Terence Disdale Design / Claudette Bonville / Felix Buytendijk. In 1987 she was formally launched to celebration in Bardenfleet and following sea trials and detailing was then delivered to the new owner. Schiffs-Und Bootswerf Fr Schweers (Lurssen Group) completed their new build motor yacht in Germany. Her hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated mostly with aluminium. With a width of 9.08 metres or 29.8 feet JAMAICA BAY has fairly large size. She has a reasonably deep draught of 3.05m (10ft). She had refit improvement and alteration work undertaken in 2004.
