German Frers was the naval architecture company involved in the professional nautical composition for HYPERION. Also the company German Frers and Pieter Beeldsnijder Design successfully worked on this venture. Interior designer Pieter Beeldsnijder Design was employed for the overall interior styling. the Netherlands is the country that Royal Huisman built their new build sailing yacht in. After formal launch in 1998 in Vollenhove the boat was afterwards handed over to the yacht owner after sea trials. A fairly large proportion is achieved with a total beam (width) of 9.57 m or 31.4 feet. With a 4.79m (15.7ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly deep. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created out of aluminium.
