Super yacht HAPPY DAYS was the largest composite yacht ever built in the America's in 2006 when she was launched. She is a 50 meter full-displacement motor yacht and is the fourth project built in this series. The owner of the yacht requested more interior volume so Delta modified the hull tooling to extend the length as well as widen the beam. Her extreme beam of nearly 34-feet gives a total of 7500 square feet of living area. The yachts decor is a mixture of light woods and cool colour tones as well as glass - symbolic of the Caribbean.
Delta Design Group was the naval architect involved in the technical nautical plans for HAPPY DAYS. Also the company Delta Design Group expertly worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Delta Design Group / Nelson Lted was commissioned for the creative interior styling. the United States is the country that Delta Marine Industries constructed their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 2006 in Seattle Wa she was then handed over to the owner after sea trials and testing. A fairly large area is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 10.4 m / 34.1 ft. With a 2.93m (9.7ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created with the use of composite.
