Don Shead was the naval architect involved in the formal nautical plans for BAIT. Her interior design was completed by Aldo Cichero. Don Shead is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. Built by Cnl (Cantieri Navali Lavagna Amy / Admiral Mariotti Yachts) this vessel was fabricated within Italy. She was officially launched in Lavagna in 1987 before being delivered to the owner. The main hull was built out of aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure is made predominantly using aluminium.
