Studio Scanu was the naval architect involved in the formal superyacht composition for AFRICA. Interior designer Franck Darnet Design was commissioned for the creative interior styling. Created by Sunrise Yachts this yacht was fabricated in Turkey. She was successfully launched in Antalya in 2009 before being handed over to the owner. Her hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated largely from aluminium. With a beam of 8.73 metres / 29 feet AFRICA has spacious size. She has a fairly shallow draught of 2.76m (9.06ft).
