Royal Huisman Yachts is a Dutch superyacht building company based in The Netherlands, which builds luxury yacht - in particular sailing yachts. In fact Royal Husiman has launched some of the most important sailing yachts of our time, including S/Y Twizzle, Ethereal and Athena.
Royal Huisman was first established way back in 1884 when it was bestowed the Royal Warrant in 1984. The yacht building company is a highly respected, family-owned, custom superyacht builder. The yard is proud of its Dutch maritime heritage and its ability to push the boundaries of new technologies, systems and processes.
It is also proud of its understanding of the harsh marine environment in which these yachting innovations must perform. Within the company there is a strong emphasis on personal relationships and ethical behaviour and dedication to perfection.

Royal Huisman builds unique custom yachts, from 30m - 90m / 100 – 300ft, for a very discerning clientele. The fabrication process takes place in a 30,000 m2 purpose-built shipyard where advanced technologies complement the finest traditional Dutch craftsmanship. The yard’s unique “Intelligent Engineering™” approach offers a flexible array of infrastructure, specialist skills and technologies rarely seen in the marine industry.

Two World Superyacht Awards 2013 went to the Royal Huisman superyacht Pumula in the categories: 'Sailing Yacht of Year' as well as 'Best Sailing Yacht 30m - 39m'. She boasts beautiful interior designed by Rhoades Young Design.

The breath-taking 37-metre Royal Huisman superyacht Pumula (Project Bugamena) has been awarded 'Best Sailing Yacht 30-39m' as well as 'Sailing Yacht of the Year' at the recent World Superyacht Awards.
The highly anticipated 8th edition of the World Superyacht Awards took place on May 4, 2013. The 'Motor Yacht of the Year' award went to the 47m Alloy superyacht Loretta Anne, while the 'Sailing Yacht of the Year' award received the 37m Royal Huisman yacht Pumula.
Royal Huisman built Hanuman yacht heads to Palma, making it 5 J Class sailing yachts scheduled to compete in The Superyacht Cup Palma regatta.
Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, the majestic 55m superyacht Adela has become the overall winner of the 2013 St Barths Bucket Regatta in the Mademoiselles class. Sailing yacht Hanuman, also designed by Dykstra, has won in the J Class race.
This year's Hainan Rendez-Vous was another great success, marked by the sale of 29 luxury yachts. The event hosted such important superyacht builders as Feadship, Lurssen, Oceanco, and many others.
