Fraser Island & Brisbane Yacht Charter

Brisbane and Fraser Island yacht charter is a holiday you will be sure to remember. A great place for a Australia yacht charter is just off the coast of Brisbane. You’ll find some surprisingly good sailing around Hervey Bay and Fraser Island.

Off the eastern coast of Queensland lie the world’s two largest sand islands which protect the coast from the open seas, making it a stunning area to cruise on a luxury yacht. The islands are Fraser Island and North Stradbroke Island. Fraser Island attained a UNESCO World Heritage Listing in December 1992 in recognition of the island's exceptional sand dune systems, its rainforests on sand, and its beautiful freshwater lakes.

The island is renown for the fishing from the ocean beaches along the eastern coast. Throughout your Fraser Island yacht charter, you’re bound to spot some dugongs, dolphins, and pelicans which inhabit the waters. Migrating humpback whales also visit these waters annually.

From Moreton Island, south, the coast is protected for a few hundred kilometers. These islands provide a protected waterway, perfect for light cruising, and only 20-30 minutes from a Queensland’s capital city and Gold Coast attractions.
