Your Brunei Yacht Charter Vacation
The weather in Brunei is generally hot as it is located near the Equator and also the sea water is very calm here. This is the reason why many yacht charterers are attracted to this place to be a part of the exotic experience of yachting in this region. In the last couple of years, the luxury yacht cruises have gained popularity in Brunei as all the yacht charter companies have acquired additional fleets. This region’s uninhabited coasts and the absence of commercial ships or ports make it a great destination for water recreations. Many Brunei yacht rental companies provide super yacht or luxury yacht with a professional crew service.

The 35 km wide cruise along the Brunei bay is lined with myriad of white beaches, coral reefs and umpteen islands. The dawn of the Keraman Island is absolutely mesmerising. During the day you can indulge yourself in beachcombing, fishing, swimming, snorkelling and diving, while in the evening you can either enjoy onshore at the numerous clubs, bars and cafe or just stay on-board your yacht and relax under the stars. In short, you will never be disappointed on a yachting trip to Brunei.

Popular Holiday Attractions In and Around Brunei
As Brunei is an Islamic country you should not miss the beautiful age old mosques like Omar Saifuddin Mosque. This mosque is located in the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan. If you are a gold lover then a visit to the Royal Treasurers Museum is a must, as it displays the coronation regalia of the monarch and other gifts offered to His Majesty. To enjoy the peculiar sight of a water village you can stopover at the Kampung Ayer. These are centuries old water villages built on stilts on the Brunei River.

Wasai Kandal, a forest area with beautiful waterfalls and pools is an excellent picnic spot, just 12 km away from Bandar Seri Begawan. You can unwind around the ponds and relish the delicacies of Brunei. Food here is very much similar to neighbouring countries like Malaysia and Singapore. You can enjoy mouth-watering Chinese dishes, toothsome Malay food and spicy Indian cuisine. Keep in mind Brunei is a dry country hence you won’t find alcoholic beverages on restaurants’ menu, though non-Muslims are allowed to purchase limited amount for their private consumption.

For those of you who love to get inspired by Mother Nature, drive 40 km southeast of Bandar Seri Begawan to Batang Duri and there are boats available to take you to Kuala Belalong Field Study Centre. It conducts researches on animal species prevalent in the rainforest.

One of the major attractions for tourists in any monarch nation is the palace of the Royal family. On your visit to the royal palace don’t forget to stop by at Pulau Ranggu, it is the home to a large settlement of proboscis monkeys. This place is located in the middle of the river and the tour on a water taxi provides an exalting experience.
