The Italian Admiral Mariotti Yachts just believe in delivering the superyachts of that yacht owner’s dream of. The Admiral 54, motor yacht SEA FORCE ONE is just such a yacht and the accolades received are reward for the high standards achieved. Another superyacht of merit is the Admiral 73 Mariotti yacht which has been designed and built thanks to the collaboration between AMY (a joint venture company with Cantieri Navali Lavagna and Cantieri T. Mariotti) along with the technical department being Luca Dini Design studio. The team behind the Admiral Yachts consists of Annamaria Jaselli Ceccaralli (President), Laura Ceccaralli (Vice President) and Francesco Ceccaralli (Managing Director).
The Admiral Yachts has made steady progress since its establishment back in 1962. In 2009, at the Fort Lauderdale, the Admiral 54 Sea Force One was awarded the title of being the ‘Most Innovative Yacht’. On 16th May 2009, at the World Super Yachts Awards in London, the same was with ‘Best Displacement Motor Yacht 50m-59m’ too. In Italy, the company won an award for ‘The Best Nautical Event’ for the presentation show of Admiral 54, (Genoa 17th July 2008).
One reason amongst many that signifies the quality that this superyacht building company delivers the use of aluminum 5083 H 321 for of its’ quality, flexibility and mechanical features that ensure safety and lightness. Water and fuel compartments are built in the double-layer keel that gives the boat greater stability. Moreover, the company also follows the highest standard as required by the international classification societies such as RINA and ABS. Some of the company’s prominent yachts include M/Y Blue Eyes (42m), which was launched on 3rd June 2009 at Lavagna, Aqua (40m), Hull 121 (32m), Maidomo (32m), Hull 115 (32m) and Framura (35m). Company’s future projects include Admiral 44WJ, Admiral 42, and Admiral 42HT. M/Y Sea Force One (54m) and Admiral 58m are few of shipyard’s displacement yachts.
The characteristics of the Admiral 42 launched in 2009, includes a stern hatch that opens as a platform over the sea, offering a guest area for sunbathing or fitness, a garage holding the tender on one side, equipped with a cart bridge for loading and launching it, and the central instrument holding mast which increases space on the sun deck. This maxi 41.40 metre planing yacht has been made all in light 5083 aluminum and looks unique because of its clean and sleek lines, with its dark blue hull and light grey superstructure. The superyacht distinguishes itself from other yachts with its performance, 30.5 knots at maximum speed with two MTU 3,650 HP, with excellence seafaring capability, a typical feature of any of Admiral yachts and with its layout, which carries the signature of Luca Dini, rich in innovative solutions. Like all the Admiral Yachts, Admiral 42 also has very elegant ineriors, ultra modern furniture and design and is dominated by the grey colour.
Presented at the 2008 Genoa Boat show, the 40 meter Admiral planning flagship M/Y 'Aqua' has also received great applauds from the media and the public and earned the important award as 'Superyacht of the year' by the Italian magazine Vela & Motore. The distinguishing trait of the Admiral 40, 42 and 44 metres is the stern hatch which opens as a platform over the sea. This maxi 39.75 metre planing yacht built in light 5083 aluminium, has golden bronze coloured hull, with its performance, 31 knots at maximum speed, thanks to two MTU 3,650 HP engines. The yacht has been made under the surveillance of the American Bureau of Shipping to obtain the 'Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service, AMS' certification.
The company also provides all the advanced navigation and communications equipments on its vessels. The standard navigation system includes VHF, SSB, RADAR, ECHO SOUNDERS, GPS, TV-SAT, SAT PHONE, PLOTTER and LOG MASTER System. This system can be controlled through a PC or even a LOG MASTER and can also be customized to suit the needs of the clients. It supervises all the functions of the vessel and gives complete information from the contents of the various tanks, and the activation of the fire and intruder alarms, and the indication of open doors and portholes as well as a 24-hour monitoring programme of all the video cameras on board. Interestingly, the entire system of monitoring can be managed by a remote PC station or from a handheld PC.
