Each Tahiti Marquises catamaran has a team of one skipper and one chef-hostess, occasionally assisted by a guide. Both your crew are experienced sailors and will be able to guide you to the best secret places with their expert local knowledge.

As such the yachts boat handling and safety is left entirely to the crew to take care of. However, if you do like sailing or dream to learn how to sail, you may take the wheel, send the mainsail up or ask the skipper that he tells you a few of his secrets.

Unless you prefer to watch the crew do the handling while you are comfortably lying on one of the two large "trampoline/sunbathing areas" at the front of the boat.

Cabins and bathrooms are kept impeccably clean, with linen changed regularly.
As to the delicious cooking served aboard, you will be sole judges but we already know that you'll love it.

Depending on your tastes or desires, your leisure activities will also be organized by your crew with the concern to not disturb your privacy while maintaining safety at all times.

You may like to swim in the company of rays, go for a kayak ride to a desert motu, go for a world class surf, or discover the most attractive coral areas as though you were in a giant aquarium. On returning from a 4x4 land excursion, a long drink served by your skipper will surely be most enjoyable at this magical time when the sun sets the lagoon ablaze.

And in the evening, a time for reverie after a fine dinner under the stars …

The charter rate is based on a 6 night/7 day charter. Included are:
The whole boat, a crew of 2 or 3 persons,(Skipper and 1 or 2 hostess), Full hotel services from 2 to 8 passengers, all taxes and all boat combustibles (water, fuel and gas), all meals and beverages during meals, leisure equipment (sea kayaks, snorkeling and fishing gears), transfers between the airport and the marina.

Not included are: Inter islands flights, Cancellation insurance.


MARQUISES 56 - A CATAMARAN FOR THE SUN
Design of the MARQUISES 56 is by Jean Berret, with the interior design by Olivier Flahault. The concept is a craft designed for the sunniest regions of the world, both for private owners or charter use, but with the capabilities of long passage-making or ocean crossings if required.
Special features of the design aimed for use in hot climates include the overhang of the cabin roof, which cuts out the direct rays of the sun from hitting the windows and prevents the greenhouse effect from raising the interior temperature. This is combined with 10 wide opening hatch/windows round the saloon, plus hatches in the insides of the hulls, to give excellent ventilation in the hottest of conditions and remove the need for heavy and costly air-conditioning.
The sail plan is designed for ease of handling, with a big main, but small, easily-tacked jib, with no overlap. The standard rig features a clever system that utilizes the electric anchor windlass to hoist the mainsail, the only heavy operation required, but a roller-furling main can be supplied as an extra.
Maximum speed under power is 9.8 knots with cruising speed being 8.5 knots at 75% power.

Aboard your luxury crewed Marquises 56 Catamaran yacht charter sail boat in Tahiti, Pacific Islands there are four superbly furnished double cabins, all with en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and CD/radios. The crew quarters are located separately.

The entertainment and leisure facilites on the Marquises 56 catamarans include AM/FM radio and CD player with indoor/outdoor speakers, TV and VCR. There is a dinghy with outboard, snorkel gear and a kayaks.
